Summary:
Claimant voluntarily left her employment in anticipation of a layoff. Claimant left her employment in order to place her name on a union call-out list so that her name would be before her co-workers as well as a new group of 2nd year electricians that were coming out of school. Confirmed with claimant she did not have a job at the time she quit. Claimant states she wouldn't be able to confirm when she would have been laid off as no date was given to her." Employer states there was no reason given by the claimant at the time she quit. Claimant came in the morning of April 7 and gave her notice. Appeal by claimant is dismissed by the Umpire.
