Summary:
The claimant stayed home to care for clinically depressed husband. The Board of Referees erred in making a decision that the claimant should be entitled to compassionate care benefits by interpreting the doctor's certificate from what it actually stated. The Board also erred when they stated that compassionate care benefits of this type cannot be restricted solely to medical certificates that say significant risk of death within 26 weeks.
