Summary:
Claimant submitted that he should be entitled to deduct the amount he has paid as union dues from the arbitration award. He argued that without payment of union dues, he would not have been entitled to representation at the arbitration hearing by a union lawyer. Request denied by BOR and upheld by Umpire.
