Summary:
The insured voluntarily shares the school year with someone else and therefore stopped working on 26-1-87. She is deemed by the school board to be on unpaid leave. She was therefore still employed but on leave. The work contract is not terninated within the meaning of Regulation of 46.1(2)(a).

Summary:
It is up to the insured to establish that she meets the requirements of Regulation 46.1(2)(a). According to 46.1, the insured is ineligible during the period of leave which is defined as the annual period where teachers do not normally teach, namely, winter and summer holidays.
