Summary:
Job Creation Projects are work projects sponsored by employers whereby participants receive UI instead of wages. It is clear from reading s.25 that claimants must be eligible to otherwise receive benefits under the Act in order to be eligible for Job Creation benefits.

Summary:
Misleading or erroneous information given by an official of the Commission will not preclude the application of the legislation. The law can only be changed by Parliament. Misinformation does not give rise to a liability on the part of the Crown. Estoppel cannot be invoked.
